First let me thank you for putting in the effort to post this project! Could you please add a link to the nice looking pots you used?

Hello,

I have a question. in general when 10k pot is used i notice thet the brigthen goes up until half a turn then it starts to go down again. Where in the code can I adjust the range ?
For speed i used 100K pot so i imagen i also need to adjust this in the code. But can't find where.
Sorry for "stupid" questions but this is my second project with arduino where i need to actually adjust/ change something.

I am getting this error when I try to upload to the NANO:

compilation terminated.
exit status 1
Error compiling for board Arduino Nano.

I'm following instructions and know very little about these computer boards.

just building this awesome project now.

Not an issue but rather a question, I was wondering if it’s hard to add another button to turn the lights on and off.

Any suggestions on what I need to add to the code to toggle the leds via an additional momentary button?

When trying to compile in arduino ide 2.0 error mesage apears :

"Compilation error: WS2812FX.h: No such file or directory"

This is when opening the .ino file in the LED-Arduino folder downloaded from Github

Few minutes later:

Apologies - writing here to quickly. Did not read the comment in the ino file. It contains a loink where the missing library can be found and then installed.

We are almost finished building our sand table but we are having an issue. Any time we run a sand pattern or homing the gantry, the LED lights switch to the rainbow pattern and we cannot switch to any other pattern. If we run the LED lights without the pi connected, the lights work perfectly and we can switch the patterns without any issues. Any ideas on where we could look to figure out this issue?
