Does that happen when the app is open for some time? Also, are you using the windows app or the web interface?

typically in the windows app and yeah most of the time the app is left open constantly, but i have had it fail just after opening the app, typically i try the web interface after the app fails

That's really strange. I would suggest it could possibly be a network problem, but it seems that you are running it locally so it shouldn't be that. Do you have something in the client app logs? You can go to App Settings > Open logs folder or if that doesn't work open it manually in %appdata%/PalworldDSGUI/logs.txt
