First, thank you very much for the work you put in this software, I tried to compile csdp previously from the package available on the original website, but it only partially worked. It is very nice to just having to call ./configure, and then everything works fine :-)

So I could very easily compile csdp on my ubuntu machine, however it seems that the produces program doesn't use vectorized linear algebra software (even though they are installed on my machine I believe). Do you know whether it would be possible to automatically detect the Atlas libraries and compile accordingly? This could give a huge advantage in terms of performance!

there is now https://github.com/coin-or/Csdp
with some improvements by @brianborchers which should be merged.

one should be able to build a dynamic library, so that it works on Linuxes and OSX, and even on Cygwin...
