Well, perhaps that's sort of true ... it's important to just keep working at it and to understand that you should love the work [or move on to something that you cannot live without it] in order to master it.

Complex ecosystems are robust ... they can live without you ... it's up to you -- can you live without complex systems...find the kinds of things that you can't live without.

It's highly likely ... maybe not certain, but very likely that you will need to get good at DIFFing ... understand distinctions, nuances AND things that don't matter ... what will work, what will work better and when to quit polishing

APPRECIATE the differences and the nuances of those differences in human beings.

Give people your time, listen to individuals, show concern for them and respect them by BEING authentic ... in order to do this, you will have to risk offending them or getting into a clarifying argument with them.
