The formatting samples page renders like this in github:

but like this in the demo (as viewed in my recent Firefox using Mac OS X 10.10.5):

On the other hand, the demo renders properly (shows boldface) in Safari.

(There is also a difference in darkness of H6, which I didn't show. It is gray (not black) in github rendering, but not in the demo rendering.)

i think css is not complete for all browsers.
i just forked and renamed it. I am using firefox.
I also checked others who forked your repo, i see same issue on those github.io sites too.

The footer tag have an align attribute like that align="center", into a div is obsolete for html5, we can correct that with css instead.

I've forked my own repo with a few changes, and I'm trying to actually see the differences displayed on GH pages. But, the pages version is completely different from my local! On my local copy, everything looks fine. But the one on pages is literally unrecognizable. The css isn't loading, which is one thing, but the title is still "Arctic Fox", which I removed, and the posts which I deleted are still there. No idea why this is happening.

edit - maybe it has something to do with the console errors below? Not sure
