workaround is to exclude these files by a rule:
- rule: ExcludeFilename
masks:
- maven-metadata.xml
from artifactory-cleanup.

Hi, thank you for publishing workaround!
Yes, the tool doesn't have any knowledge about used repository, it operates only files.
It'd be great to mention it in README.md with an example tho, like for Conan repository.
Feel free to create a PR for that!
I think it's also possible to create some sort of shortcuts for repositores, like MavenRepo or ConanRepo (it's not so easy with that one tho), but we don't have any plans, suggestions are welcome too!
