My name is Michael Rooplall. I'm a full stack software developer building anything from websites and mobile applications to all other forms of full scale systems. I have a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Pace University and over 9 years of active experience in development. I graduated May, 2021, from the Seidenberg School of CSIS and the Pforzheimer Honors College.
I started doing Software Development in early high school, building revenue-generating games and contracting on different platforms. I later joined my school's Robotics Team (FRC Team 5599, The Sentinels), where I spent two years as the Team Captain and Lead Software Developer. We've been competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) for over 6 years.
I do consulting and contracting on the side, as I have built up a wealth of experience and skills over the years through my interests in hobby development. My specialties are in NodeJS systems and applications (React Native, React, Electron, etc.) and web development, with a history of extensive work designing, building, and maintaining full stack systems.
In my free time, I enjoy developing as a hobby. I play badminton, watch anime, and have a love for learning spoken languages. I also go back to my high school to mentor students on CS and Robotics.
