I'm making a bulk add to cart system with simple products only
Suppose a person wants to order below items:

product A, red color, qty 12
Product A, green color, qty 18
Product B, XL, qty 3
Product C, qty 10
How can I do this?

your query string does not have attribute fileds

I am using the default onepage checkout with this url for testing

http://www.fakedomain.com/checkout/cart/add?product=850

i unfortunately get taken to an empty cart instead.

I looked over the code for this extension, then installed it... It didn't seem to have the desired effect, and still takes users to an empty cart. I thought maybe it was due to the conflict with Simple Configurable Products (even though I'm only adding standalone simple products via querystring), so I set up a dev site and deleted the SCP extension code manually, since the extension is no longer recognized in my Magento Connect. No go.

I should also note we are using the OneStepCheckout extension, but I don't think it affects the cart page.

The add to cart URL I am testing is http://dev.concreteresurrection.com/urlcheckout/add?product=883

I just wanted to say thanks for creating this module.
It's been a great help, after hours trying to add this functionality myself I came across this and it just worked 👍
Keep up the great work.

i have installed your extension but

if i call product add link
http://178.62.211.202/urlcheckout/add?product=23649

it goes to http://178.62.211.202/urlcheckout/
and nothing has been added

Doesn't seem to work on a fresh copy of Magento 1.8.1.0. Any suggestions for making it work again?

Firstly - this is a brilliant solution and happy to have found your work.

I am just wondering if your solution applies to configurable products (aka am I just doing something wrong or no.. config products aren't supported.)

I tried

but just got an empty cart

i chose the super_attribute parameter based on info from this article

i dont expect you to code an answer, just a reply would be appreciated to let me know if such functionality is already written in this module.

your solution seems better as it doesn't modify template files.

I've merged the app directory but keep getting a 404 when I try to add a product at mydomain.com/urlcheckout/add?product=1

I don't see the module listed under:
System -> Configuration -> Advanced -> Disable Modules Output

Does that mean it's not "installed" correctly?

I'm running 1.8.0.0. I'm fairly new to Magento so still finding my way around. Appreciate the help.
