CommentTemplate is a code generation extension for the Java language. CommentTemplate takes the important features of existing code generation languages, which are not offered by Java itself already, and implements those as a light-weight extension for Java.
The generated Java classes are not compiled after they have been generated. Still, Eclipse assumes they are up to date and does not compile (builds) them. You need to trigger the compilation manually (e.g., by modifying the generated file).
The problem was observed with current trunk build.
I got an error installing CommentTemplate from Eclipse Marketplace
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found. Software being installed: CommentTemplate 0.9.3.v201307191659 (de.devboost.commenttemplate.feature.group 0.9.3.v201307191659) Missing requirement: CommentTemplate 0.9.3.v201307191659 (de.devboost.commenttemplate.feature.group 0.9.3.v201307191659) requires 'org.emftext.language.java.feature.group 0.0.0' but it could not be found
I tried to use CommentTemplate with eclipse 3.8, eclipse 4.2 (Keppler), eclipse 4 (Juno), java 64bit and java 32bit with CommentTemplate from marketplace v 0.9.1:
but generation for class (without suffix "Source") won't work and no error messages displayed. Hope you can help, formerly I used CommentTemplate and I liked it very much.
