Navigate to the
backend
directory:cd backend

Create a
.env
file by running:touch .env
Or directly add environment variables in
.env
with the following details:MONGO_URI=<"your Mongo URL"> SMTP_USERNAME=your_smtp_username SMTP_PASSWORD=your_smtp_password SECURITY_CODE=your_security_code
Replace
your_username
,your_password
,your_smtp_username
,your_smtp_password
, andyour_security_code
with your actual credentials. -
Run the backend server:
go run main.go

Navigate to the
frontend
directory:cd frontend
-
Install dependencies:
npm install
-
Start the frontend server:
npm run dev
Now you should be able to access the backend and frontend of your application. Make sure to replace the placeholder credentials with your actual credentials before running the application.
