What is the license for the source code?

I have an example TIFF file which displays perfectly, except at the very bottom of the image where VLIV has inserted a black stripe. The same image displayed in IrfanView is how I expect, without the black stripe.

First, thanks for making vliv opensource. Previously I've been using libvips-based viewer to view tiled/pyramid tiff.
Please consider to have libtiff as dll instead of statically linked to main plugin.

nowadays libtiff been adding compressor every few years, who knows whats next. It would be easier for end user to just replace libtiff with updated one. At the moment I'm really interested in tiled webp inside tiff and vliv don't support it although it does support webp.

the Bitmap format also supports top-down images.

vliv only shows a black area for this kind of files.

Probably using wine. WHich parts of code are windows specific?

Trying to open a 2,24million x 15 pixels files causes a runtime error.

Viewing a BMP file in vliv looks different than in other image viewers, such as Photos and Irfanview:

The image was generated by the SDL_SaveBMP function of SDL2. The image can be found in:
00000000BAA76904.zip
