The fourth gene is being initially set to zero regardless of its initial value in the gene selector even if species is initially set to 4-gene species.

To reproduce, in parent component's ngOnInit(), give a property of that component an initial value consisting of 4 genes where the fourth is not 0. Bind this property to the gene selector's ngModel and set the species of the selector to Rose (or any other test species that has four genes). The fourth gene will be 0 on render of the page.

Expected is for the fourth gene to be whatever the initial value is.

In the gene selector, error text is shown underneath the fields if the entered shorthand is not a valid sequence. If anything is to the left or right of the gene selector, they are popped down to align with the new error message.

Expected is for items to left and right to remain at their vertical alignment when error message is shown.

On desktop chrome, at or near 768px at some specific width, both the wide navigation items and the mobile-width hamburger menu are hidden. Expected behavior is for wide items to show at width 768 and higher and for hamburger menu to show at widths less than that.
