How to contribute

Contributing to the Marketplace is easy, you just need to go through the following process:

  1. Look for issues in the Issues tab or create a new one with the proposed changes. We classify issues with the “Enhancement”, “Bug” or “Good first issue” tags. Feel free to check one of those first.
  2. Contact team members via the GitHub issue or use the Code Contribution Discord channel. It’s important to at least check on the issue status before starting.
  3. Set up your GPG key and sign all commits in your branch.
  4. Read the testing standards and the coding standards to produce code that fits the project standards.
  5. Create a PR with the changes, linking the PR to the created issue. If there are visual changes in the PR, attach images.

marketplace's Issues

Empty pages

Support empty lists when no NFT is found:

  • Market
  • Wallet profile page

Add navigation (under the navbar)

It should live below the NavBar

image

For this issue, adding placeholders to each section should suffice to avoid blocking other PRs

Keep in mind that the wallet will be used to check which sections to show

Blocked by #2

Item detail page

It should show basic information about the item and start handling which buttons should and should not appear.

Out of scope:

  • Transaction history #12
  • Making buy/sell buttons actually work #13

Keep in mind that we need to handle different NFTs:

  • Parcel
  • Estate
  • Wearable

Debatable (new issues should be added if these are not implemented here):

  • Add tags
  • Add highlights

Show Atlas

Keep in mind that the connected wallet should show the corresponding owned LAND

Depends on #5

Wallet profile page

Display a list of my owned items. No filters needed, but add pagination.

Use a URL like /myitems that points to the current wallet and /addresses/0x to a particular address

Both pages should look similar but with an added header

Settings page

It does not need a TRANSFER feature. BUY MORE should only be a link.

It should support approving and removing approvals for different NFTs (items)
Keep in mind the new "C1" definition for this

Add search totals were possible

We need to investigate this further, but it'd be useful for showing the total results and to avoid showing the LOAD MORE button when it's not necessary

It's a join effort between front and back

Market page (item list)

It should have pagination.

Not mandatory (found on other issues), but it can be done at the same time:

  • Filtering via categories (sidebar, #27)
  • Filtering using the dropdown (#28)

Things that could be done on different issues:

  • Add the tags/rarity/etc to each item card
