About

Floor Plan Lab is a React app intended to be used as a tool to rapidly design floor plans. It uses a customizable snap-to-grid scale to automatically size objects such as doors, furniture, and appliances.

Development Quick Start

# Inside root directory, install dependencies
npm install

# Run development script on localhost:3000

floor-plan-lab's Issues

Save/export the floor plan

Being able to draw the floor plan without being able to save is quite disappointing. Please let us download the JSON file that defines the floor plan, and let us import said JSON into the editor so we can edit it at later point.

Feature Request: Allow for larger than 100x100 projects

I really love this tool but I can't quite fit half of my house into it at a 4" resolution that would allow it to match up exactly. Would be awesome if you could go larger with projects even if it's not enabled by default. 150x150 or 200x200 would do it.
