Repository should be cloned recursively in order to clone all submodules

git clone --recursive url_to_repo

or after clone call

git submodule update --init --recursive

To prepare compilation environment

sudo apt-get install libcdio-dev  
sudo apt-get install libbsd-dev  
sudo apt-get install libpulse-dev  # ???(should be tested again)  
sudo apt-get install libbind-dev
