To enforce TLS 1.2 on your outbound connections like HttpWebRequests, just download the assembly DotNetNuke.Security.Tls12.dll and drop it into the ~/bin folder of your DNN installation.

Currently, this solution is a little known "secret". 😉

You could improve GitHub search by adding the same key phrase to the README file. I'll be happy to create a PR for that part.

Add backward TLS compatibility.

Installable DNN Extension

This should be packaged as a library extension that can be installed so that superusers can install and uninstall it via the Extensions view.

Framework 4.8

Hello - could this be updated to change target framework to 4.8? (I think this is why this solution is not working for me in a new server environment...)
