On line 50 you're creating the standAlone var and then on line 74 you are not using it but checking the same things again.

Focus events also need to be handled appropriately, or else there will be "ghost" focus events.

I'm not sure if this is an issue or not, but I thought I'd mention it just in case! :-)

I've been setting up a little jquery mobile app and testing it online. When I 'Add to home screen' on my iphone to test it full screen, I lose link behaviour between pages. It doesn't occur on my footer nav, just on inter-page links in the page content. Tapping on links just bounces you to the 'home' screen. The problem goes away if I don't include energize.js in the top of my document.

It's quite possible I've missed something or screwed something up, though!

On android 4.3, and probably other versions too, I need to tab the select button twice to show the choices. Is there a simple way around this.?

I've just tested video element in many mobile android browsers and I cannot click/touch any video control only in Chrome mobile browser (v. 27.0.1453.90).
But video works fine for Firefox, Dolphin, Opera and default Android browser (all on Galaxy Nexus, Android 4.2.2).

I love this piece of code but I just noticed it has no license.

Is it licensed under an permissive license (e.g. MIT)?

I have a use case where a click on an absolute positioned element immediately hides that element and the elements behind it receive an undesired mouseenter event. The mouseenter doesn't happen without energize. Tested on iOS7 Safari.

Whenever I programmatically create a node and bind a 'click' event, I get 'ghost clicks' on iOS - the bound event gets fired twice. This doesn't happen on elements that exist on page load. Any ideas?

When loading a page with forms it causes it to auto focus into first field and then immediately back out. Other that that, it makes my phone gap app feel snappy...
