school_app's Issues

Sub tasks

Sub tasks for normal tasks. These would only really contain whether they are completed and a title.
The question here is about the usecase. For normal tasks that require you doing multiple exercises they aren't really suited imo, since you don't really stop in the middle of doing the homework to tick the sub task off. So it would be more convenient to just put it into the description.
As such, the usecase would be only on rather rare occasions, and thus not really worth it.

Desktop & Web support

Support building the project for Desktop and Web. Currently (at lease on Windows), the Firebase packages used don't work, preventing building the project.

Task sharing

Ways to share tasks with other people.
Current ideas:

• Links (user would need to distribute them themselves)
• With nearby devices

Nearby sharing

The first idea was trying to use the technologies used by Android Nearby Share / iOS AirDrop, however these are platform dependent and cannot be used between platforms.
Another idea was making it ourselves using Bluetooth Low Energy with Advertising / Discovering. This seems to be rather difficult though, again, because of platform differences.
