Batman Miniature Game Rap Sheet Builder

In order to make life easier for new players, the Rap Sheet Builder allows users to print out Rap Sheets containing a summary of the Traits for a Model or Character.

Rap Sheet Objectives

Perhaps they are a bit overly-simplified, but my primary goals are the following:

• Speed - So that users do not have to wait for server communication, it should be fast and efficient. Favor processing on the device over the server where possible.
• Size - So that mobile users can find it useful, the tool should maintain as small a footprint as possible. This means less emphasis on images.
• Accurate - So that users can trust the tool, be as accurate in rules summary as possible.

As stated, these goals shape the development direction for the tool, and they are certainly up for debate! You can contribute to the debate by filling out a Google survey here.

Running Instance

The Rap Sheet Builder is currently deployed on Heroku here:

This is only a free Heroku deployment. If necessary to support the community, I will upgrade it to a Hobbyist deployment. Shoot, it would probably be worth it merely to get rid of that hideous link...

Priorities Survey

Feedback is immensely important in software. Interaction with users is what makes the entire software world go round.

Weapon Traits would be useful on Rap Sheets

A feature requested on Facebook was for the Weapon Traits to be populated.

A more obvious Reset button is needed

In order to reset the crew, which would likely be a useful function for most users, the user must change the selected crew in the drop down.

There should be a Reset button to go back to a selected state for ease of use.

Equipment Organized Crime

Some issues with the equipment, as not being able to select and assign the loyalty tattoo or Old School Training to Boris.

Selecting a unit with Classified name hides other Classified

Pretty simple to fix in the engine. Just add Classified to the checks.

Multi-page Rap Sheets are a serious problem.

Many of the leader characters wind up with so many traits that they cannot fit on a single Rap Sheet. They need to automatically split into a second sheet.

Legend points need to be tracked

There are many more legends being added to BMG. Wonder Woman (which I just awesomely typoed to the Wonder Womanana), Worlds Finest, Amazons, and I'm sure there are more. But really, one a month for the last three months.

It's time to take them into account.

Increase Info button's size when no equipment is selected on the model

Really, just make it so that the Info button gets chopped in half when a model has equipment.

Elite status is not tracked correctly

Perhaps the most problematic is in the LexCorp where they can currently take as many elite Gangsters and elite SWAT as they want.

Good luck implementing this one!

Weapons are not available on equipment

The additional weapons added by equipment should be available on the equipment cards.

Only one Nightwing version displayed

The new Arkham Knight Nightwing does not have the correct alias applied. This is causing him to not appear.

Dollotrons are not properly added with Professor Pyg

This requires a larger solution that will include the Dynamic Duo.

Behavior remains odd around the Crew Rules Enabled toggle

When you have an invalid crew in the Current Crew, and turn the Crew Rules Enabled flag back on, the Toggle switches to green, but Crew Rules are not correctly enabled.

Joker Crew has too many Clown-Unknowns

Way too many clowns. Period. However, some of the Clowns are hidden because they both have the Name Unknown and Alias Clown. Make them more unique.

Vehicles... Enough said.

They're a part of BMG now. Get them in when you get the chance.

Populate traits on equipment at load time

Seriously.

It is really silly to pass around the allTraits array to all of these pieces of equipment.

Bane Crew - Venom Lab does not drop cost of Venom Dose

Cost of the Venom Dose should go down to $50 after adding the Venom Lab equipment.

Boss Funding Cost

The cost in dollars of the boss has to be 0$

Aversion rules are not correctly implemented

The Main Man himself for starters, but also The Holiday Killer has Aversion rules.

Allow clicks on Strategy fields to trigger sorting

The ones to care about most are:

• Name
• Cost
• Crews
• Phase
• Batmatch

Removing a required character does not remove their related equipment

For example, removing Scarecrow from a crew does not remove Fear Gas Dispenser or Secret Laboratory.

Need to be able to print summary list

Really, I'm looking for two things here.

First, is a summary list that can be posted into Facebook or where-evs.

Second, it's time to start doing the list string correctly. That is the bigger challenge.

Reputation calculation is in too many spots

Simplify it.

It's a cross-cutting concern. How you deal with it in Redux is probably an important pattern for some reason.

Should see selected equipment on INFO character click

It's kinda weird to no longer get to see the details of a piece of equipment.

That is all.

No equipment for LexCorp

Mostly because @DaveSpringer does not have the LexCorp Industries box. If someone could post a picture, I can add it.
