Rainbow Text

Make the text color on widgets able to be set to rainbow wave.

Resize

Bound boxes around widgets that can be used to resize.

Could also do auto scaling with resizing.. and have auto scaling as a toggle.

KronHUD 2.0.0 Removed "DisableVanillaPotionHUD" Option?

idk if this should be a bug report or feature request tbh. Anyway, in KronHUD 2.0.0 the "DisableVanillaPotionHUD" option seems to be removed. I really love the vanilla HUD and actually want to have both present, so please add this back.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to kronhud.json
  2. "DisableVanillaPotionHUD" option is gone

[Suggestion] Horizantal Potion/Status bar

Describe what you would like
An option to make the potion/status bar render horizontally instead of vertically.

Additional context
I personally like the default vertical widget, but I'm currently using VoxelMap, and VoxelMap moves downward when you have a status effect applied, expecting the vanilla status icons to be there. So I would like to place KronHUD's status bar where Vanilla would normally render it, and have the icons list right to left, that way it plays nice with VoxelMap.

(Also, thx for this mod, I love how configurable it is.)

Edit: Ok, I was wrong. Vanilla buffs stack up an down too, and VoxelMap continues to move downward the more buffs you get. I'm dumb lol. Horizontal buff bar in KronHUD would still be cool though, so I'll leave this suggestion here.

cords bug

Blank Widget

A blank widget, basically an empty resizable square, because some other mods have widgets with blank backgrounds and I would like to have those widgets match the theme

More configurable ArmorHUD

Describe what you would like
I want ArmorHUD to be horizontal and I don't need the hotbar current item there.

Display the arrow type selected

Describe what you would like
Currently, the sum of arrows in the inventory is displayed with the arrow hud. I suggest making this more accurate by:

  1. Displaying the arrow would be used by the bow, that is, the top left most stack of arrows. Along with their respective icons.
  2. Option to display stacks being used instead of the sum of arrows in inventory.
  3. Maybe also an infinity sign for using standard arrows with an infinity bow.

Action Bar customization

Describe what you would like
Similar to how scoreboard and boss bar can be customized I would love the same for action bar (the line of text above the selected item name) to be able to reposition it and add a text shadow.

Disabling Keystrokes hud breaks startup

Describe the bug
When the Keystrokes Hud is disabled the game refuses to launch

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Load Game
  2. Turn off keystrokes hud
  3. Close and reload the game
  4. Crash

Expected behavior
The game to load normally

Custom Crosshair Resizing (And maybe custom crosshair texture)

KronHUD is very useful for me, I can move the HUD anywhere on my monitor.
But it will good if it has "Custom Crosshair" for it. And yes, can modify the texture of the Crosshair (or at least, don't replace the other's resource pack into KronHUD's default crosshair)

In my condition, GUI Scale: 2 work best for my monitor and my eyes. But the crosshair is small if I use GUI Scale 2.
If I use GUI Scale: 3, The crosshair is good enough to see (Doesn't blending with the objects) but the HUD and everything are too big.

Keystrokes CPS

Keystrokes CPS
A Right and Left Click we Can See Keystrokes CPS (Click Per Second)

Mod Incompatible with 1.18.1 on Fabric

Mod fails to load on 1.18.1, due to dependencies specifically listing 1.18.

From what I can tell the fix should be as simple as updating the dependencies in gradle.properties, build.gradle, and fabric.mod.json.

I was able to do this myself, and recompiled & loaded it successfully, but I'm not an experienced github user so I don't trust myself to make a proper PR (plus for all I know my proposed fix screws something up really badly).

FPS halving while Using KronHUD

Whenever I try to use this mod my FPS almost halves. This mod is great and I would love to use it without lag spikes

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Launch Minecraft Fabric with Kron HUD mod and Fabric API
  2. Go into single-player or multi-player
  3. You will see that either your fps is low or halved

I expected this mod to only reduce my fps by a little Eg: 300 to 275

WASD Keystrokes fail to render

Describe the bug
When I open Minecraft using the KronHUD Mod with Keystrokes on, only the space bar, LMB and RMB Show. The boxes change colour when I press WASD but WASD doesn’t actually render.

  1. Install KronHUD 1.17.1
  2. Enable Keystrokes

I expect WASD to be shown and highlighted when pressed.

Error message when I launch MC

When I try to launch the game with the latest version of Fabric I have an error message "Could not find required mod: kronhud requires {fabric @ [*]}".

Attack indicator doesn't show

Issue:
Attack indicator doesn't show when set to Crosshair

To Reproduce:

  1. Download and install the mod for 1.16.4
  2. Ensure that Attack indicator setting is set to 'Crosshair'
  3. Hit with something that has a long recharge time, like an ax.

1.17.1 Backport?

Is there a way to Backport to 1.17.1? I’m making a modpack of that version for personal use.
Additional context
A lot of modders still make 1.17.1 modpacks so I don’t think it’s a benefit only for me.

Dynamic arrow count

All mouse clicks show as cps even after I changed all settings

All clicks register as cps even tho I want either one

  2. Click rmb then lmb in a rapid manner

both the clicks register as cps even though only one is supposed to

Text Alignment and Spacing

Describe what you would like
Currently the HUD is like this for FPS and Coordinates:

While this is not view obstructing at all, it pains me to see the huge gap between the coordinates and the increment/direction indicator. It is also painful to see the additional spacing between FPS and Ping and the text boxes.

I would simply like an option to change the style they are displayed.

Cannot exit the config of a specific module

Describe the bug
I haven't figured out how to exit out of a module config screen without exiting the whole KronHUD config.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to Mod Menu
  2. Scroll to KronHUD and click on config button
  3. Right click a module
  4. Do something, like toggle it off
  5. Press Esc to save/return
  6. KronHUD config exits entirely

Expected behavior
I expected to go back to previous screen, so I could edit the config of another module.

It crashes game when the mod is configured outside a minecraft world.

The mod crashes the game when you try to configure it using mod menu while not loaded in a minecraft world.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
0. Do not be in a minecraft world

  1. Go to mod menu
  2. Configure KronHud

Expected behavior
Either it prevents that configuration when not in world or some menu configuration.

I cant run it and it shows this message

Mod Uses Unreleased Version of Polish

Describe the bug
I wanted to contribute to this mod, but the public version of Polish on GitHub cannot be used to compile this mod, as it is missing various methods and classes. I tried to use the version of Polish bundled with the pre-built mod, but it uses the intermediary mappings.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. Clone https://github.com/DarkKronicle/Polish.git and run ./gradlew build.
  2. Clone https://github.com/DarkKronicle/KronHUD.git.
  3. Copy "Polish/build/libs" to "KronHud/libs".
  4. Run ./gradlew build in KronHUD.

Expected behaviour
I expected the mod to compile with the public .

Suggested Solutions
3 solutions I thought of:

  • Remove "libs" from ".gitignore" and add the libs folder in a commit.
  • Commit the unpublished changes to the public Polish repository.
  • Change the code to work with the public Polish version.

Support more Minecraft versions!

I am Chinese, I used Google Translate to translate this suggestion! It may be a bit incorrect, but please read it through!

This is a great mod, but we need to make it support more versions! For example 1.7.10 / 1.8.9 / 1.12.2! I used this mod in 1.16.2, and I think it is very suitable for playing Hypixel! But I did not find a mod version that supports 1.8.9! Because 1.8.9 has not been "Combat Updat", and for the latest version, 1.8.9 will be more stable and mature! So I hope it can support 1.8.9 or more.

I hope the author will adopt this suggestion!

Crash after joining the world

Initially everything worked, but after one of the restarts (in order to install several other mods), this mod start crashing mincraft.
Downloading the mods again did not help.
Disabling other mods also (disabled all other mods on video).
