Hey, i want to use this project even if it's not stable yet. Could you make an alpha (or 0.x) release for those that don't mind using it even if its unstable?

Can u write a doc specifying how to use this panel. I know it's in development but i want to use it.

Plus an option to change to recently used

Is it possible to add short codes? People cant keep opening those emoji panels each time to send emojis.

A new twitter update this morning, converts emoji into a span.RichEditor-pictographText instead of leaving it as a native emoji character.

It makes emoji instantly appear as twemoji, which is cool but it also breaks the extension beyond adding one emoji.

We already store the offset of where to place the emoji in the input here: create.js#L9

But the write function is from the old extension: emojis.js#L87

And also optionally on the emoji buttons themselves to show name or short name.

How do you can change text/emoji characters into your emoji ( what ever it is, images/fonts/icons).

Example if web page have like this
<span>Hi! danbovey :) </span> or <span>🙈😉😃😢😜😳😒😭😊😁☺️😔</span>
These characters should replaced by your colored emoji.

Why because, After I picked and saved to backend then I retrieve them into my web page. characters are looks like '☺️' in my web page.

Also please consider IE browser. You can open this same page in IE and see What exactly I want to tell you.

Support for mobile.twitter.com, as I know some (minimalist) people who prefer to use it.

Currently searching over a list of abstract words about the object such as love, like, affection, valentines when you need a heart!

So move away from emojilib or add keywords from another source.

Currently there is no support for adding emojis in the Messages form.

Similar to GitHub/Slack, add emoji to the tweet by typing the codes listed on emoji-cheat-sheet.com.

Show an autocomplete menu when users type : plus minimum input.

Keep track of the twitter user in the frequently used feature.

The emojis.json is already grouped by category, so it would be very easy to add a separator into the list to show the groupings. And potentially navigate to them with a menu, #3 Frequently used would be a menu item also.

The image after a popular hashtag is also a RichEditor-pictographText so it needs to check that the image isn't inside a .twitter-hashtag

Like Slack or Discord, allow users to specify a list of custom emoji that appears in it's own category.

Hi this plugin is awesome thank you for that. I want to use this with ionic 3 but i get this error:

A horizontal scrollbar appears in the emoji scrolling list on Windows.

Is this project abandoned?

If you visit someone's profile and tweet them, the emoji button icon appears in your profile's colour scheme and not theirs, which means it doesn't match the colour of the rest of the tweet form.
