I finally managed to run the first example.

• It seems that the example was written a couple of versions ago so it doesn't run out of the box.
• The process for making it run is here.
• Actually, @VictoriaSinclair posted the very same issue i was trying to solve 2 years ago ;).

• Verify compiled version at Taito
• Run default example and make sure its working

In the meeting on (13/14 June 2019), a different approach to the clustering was suggested. Using the current automated approach we identify the "meteorological" clusters i.e. different types of synoptic (or local) weather patterns. These may not directly relate to different source regions of different chemicals. Therefore it was proposed to define clusters based on land use / geographical area.

1. Pacific Ocean Boundary layer
2. Highlands (land areas over 1500m) boundary layer
3. La Paz / El Alto Boundary layer
4. Amazon (take land use map from WRF - rainforest) boundary layer
5. Amazon (take land use map from WRF - rainforest) "shallow convection layer
6. "Savannah" Other land areas. boundary layer
7. free tropopshere everywhere

Notes
Over the sea / "dry areas": 2 vertical regions - the boundary layer and free troposphere. Use the WRF calculated BL depth to divide these

Over the Amazon, shallow convection develops during the day. We need 3 layers: BL, top of BL to 4500m a.g.l. (shallow convection layer) and the >4500m (free troposphere)
