ISRO-Web 🧑🏽‍🚀

Welcome 👋

My project, ISRO-web, draws inspiration from the design and user experience of SpaceX's official website. This endeavor reflects my aspiration to bring a similar level of user engagement and innovation to ISRO's online presence. By adapting the aesthetic and functionality of SpaceX's website, my efforts are focused on enhancing ISRO's digital platform to better showcase its achievements, missions, and contributions to space exploration

💻 Tech Stack

HTML5 - HTML is the standard markup language for Web pages
JavaScript - JS is an Open source runtime environment, built on the Chrome browser's V8 engine
CSS - CSS describes how HTML elements should be displayed

Curate a collection of high-resolution images from both organizations, categorized by missions, rockets, and facilities.

What is your aproach for new features

Design a user-friendly interface for your image gallery. The design should allow users to easily browse and search for images within the different categories.

Implement a responsive design to ensure the gallery looks good on various devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).

BUG: Menu Icon Overlaps Navigation Bar Items on Small Screens

What happened?

On smaller screens, such as mobile devices or narrow viewports, a user interface issue has been identified. When the website is viewed on these smaller screens, the menu icon overlaps with the navigation bar items, resulting in a suboptimal user experience.

Steps to Reproduce:

Access the website on a mobile device or resize the browser window to a smaller viewport.
Observe the navigation bar, particularly the menu icon and navigation items.
Note that the menu icon appears to overlap with the navigation items, potentially causing issues with user interaction and readability.

Expected Behavior

On larger screens, the navigation bar should display all individual navigation tab items, providing users with direct access to various sections of the website.
On smaller screens, such as mobile devices or narrow viewports, the navigation bar should adapt to a more space-efficient design. In this responsive design, all individual navigation tab items should be merged into a collapsible menu (commonly represented by a menu icon or "hamburger" icon).
When the user interacts with the menu icon on smaller screens, the collapsible menu should expand to display the full list of navigation items, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly navigation experience.
The responsive design should prioritize readability, ease of use, and a visually appealing layout to accommodate limited
screen real estate while maintaining the website's functionality.
