Introducing the "GoGreen" initiative, our primary goal revolves around establishing a comprehensive carbon-neutral platform tailored for avid travelers. Every aspect of their engagement within this platform will be powered by renewable energy sources, encompassing a fully sustainable approach from inception to execution.

Frontend

  • NextJs - Next.js is an open-source web development framework.
  • JavaScript - JavaScript (JS) is a lightweight interpreted (or just-in-time compiled) programming language with first-class functions.
  • TailwindCSS - Tailwind CSS is a utility-first CSS framework for rapidly building modern websites without ever leaving your HTML.
  • React Icons - Include popular icons in your React projects easily with react-icons, which utilizes ES6 imports that allows you to include only the icons that your project is using.
  • Framer Motion - Utilized Framer Motion to infuse dynamic animations and seamless transitions, enhancing user engagement in my project.

Backend

  • NodeJs - Node.jsยฎ is an open-source, cross-platform JavaScript runtime environment.
  • Express.js - Fast, unopinionated, minimalist web framework for Node.js
  • Mongodb Atlas - Employed MongoDB Atlas to streamline database management, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and data integrity.
  • Razorpay -Integrated Razorpay API for secure and hassle-free payment processing, ensuring a smooth transaction experience

API

  • Postman - Leveraged Postman API for seamless testing and integration, expediting the development and delivery process
  • Twillio - Using Twilio, we ensure you receive instant booking confirmations and personalized updates for a seamless hotel experience
  • OpenAI - OpenAI is an American artificial intelligence (AI) research laboratory consisting of the non-profit OpenAI, Inc. and its for-profit subsidiary corporation

Authentication

  • Auth0 - Implemented Auth0 to fortify security measures with a seamless and customizable authentication and authorization solution

Getting Started: Running the Project Locally

Why pnpm ?

pnpm accelerates package installation by sharing dependencies, optimizing storage and enhancing development efficiency.

Install dependencies

For frontend

 cd frontend
pnpm i

run the development server:

pnpm dev

For backend

 cd backend
npm i

run the development server:

node server.js
