Stellar mass function prescription
The mass function measurements presented in: https://arxiv.org/pdf/1910.04168.pdf should now be the best current parametrisation of SMF evolution for arbitrary redshifts.
Given the relative depths of the optical data in the LOFAR fields, the potentially spurious evolution of M* found when fitting redshift bins separately (in Fontana and most other papers) could result in redshift trends in the density maps that are products of the reference SMF rather than the data.
Masks for luminosity functions and environmental studies...
Preliminary results
Something preliminary on the EN1, left is the composite RGB, on the right rge density field drawn from @dunkenj pdf
A few clusters already detected... This is a first result, the technique is gonna improve a lot I expect...
First correlations with radio sources catalogs
Hi - coming back to the topic after years of being idl for a while.
@eloisepapka will work on correlating the density field redshift cube with the radio catalogs. We will post results and discuss them here
You can find the different datasets in the dictionary here (these directories are on the node nancep7
)

PhotoCat
: catalog containing the magnitudes of galaxies in the different filtersMaskImage
: the mask that has to be applied to remove bright contaminating sourcesPhysCat
: the physical parameters estimated from thePhotoCat
(redshift, stellar masses etc). The photometric redshift code also generates:PzCat
: catalog containing the P(z) redshift probablity distributionRGBNames
: the optical/NIR images of Elais N1 field
The density field cube as estimated from the above data is available at: /data/cyril.tasse/DataDeepFields/EN1/GammaField.fits
Now as to the radio sources detected by LOFAR/LoTSS
, the catalog can be found at /data/cyril.tasse/DataDeepFields/SEDfits_v1.0/AGNclasses_ElaisN1_DR1_final_extended.fits
