Thanks to @QRemy I found out that there is a problem with some elliptical sources from gamma-cat. HESS J1427-608, HESS J1626-490, and HESS J1708-410 have semi-minor axis > semi-major axis
Fix if the model needs to be regenerated in the future

The templates for Vela X can be improved in two ways:

• templates derived from X-ray data are plagued by statistical uncertainties, can we treat this by smoothing and clipping?
• templates derived from radio have a very high (0.003 deg resolution) which makes manipulation in gammalib time- and memory-consuming, can we downgrade the resolution by a factor of 10?

I am in touch with the model creator (Aleksandr Burtovoi) to figure these questions out, for the moment the Vela X templates are not included for the sake of time/memory.

Two things need to be addressed for the elliptical Gaussian sources imported from gamma-cat

• make sure that the position angle definition is the same in gamma-cat and gammalib (Cc @cdeil )
• figure out how to deal with sources the morphology of which is defined in the Galactic frame, which is not straighforward in gammalib
