I haven't had time to test this, but try this demo.

If it works, download the updated anythingZoomer script here - it has a new option named delay which is the amount of time in milliseconds to delay before opening the zoom window.

If it works well, I'll look into adding this to the plugin.

What a legend, thanks! I've tried it in all major browsers and works well in all expect IE (suprise). It seems to show the magnifier immediately, then stutter for the delay period before continuing to work as expected.

I'll still use it as is but if you could sort IE too I'd recommend adding it to the plugin for all to use.

Oh fun... check out this answer on StackOverflow about how IE fires the mousemove event before the mouseenter event... and Firefox fires mousemove before mouseover LOL. I'll try the code Doug suggested.

Ok, updated the demo again.. here is the minified version as well. I plan on including this in the next release, once I have time to figure out and fix issue #7.
