This is easy - emulate the PHP version of this same thing which we already 
have.  Insturctors can 
have a config screen that picks an ical feed and this then just wraps the HTM 
for the Google 
Calendar Widget.

We need a place to effetively record our thoughts, notes, and write short 
reflective things.

The idea is that folks would wander around the Internet and decide they like 
links and/or 
documents.  These links and documents would be pulled into the authoring 
environment.  Within 
the environment they could be ordered and synched.

These things could be exported and exchanged using IMS CC.  ALso students could 
use these as a 
guide as they surfed learning materials.

This is basically a resources tool like thing.  One interesting idea is to try 
to make this so it can accumulate artifacts as you go around and learn - and 
provide a time and tag view of things like 
PowerPoint and PDF.  Like a handy-dandy notebook.

This will allow markup in little squares that can be dragged around.  The Fluid 
Project has the low 
level bits for this - of course there will be work to make it work.  The most 
exciting bit will be 
handling multiple piece of markup on the same screen at the same time with 
people pressing the 
back button.  Really this should be done in a nice clean way to make a reusable 
"portal" for 
AppEngine using Fluid.   Fun Stuff.

This would be very useful for teachers who want to encourage reflective 
writing.  Each student 
would come in and add their RSS feed to the collective bog.

This again can build off the existing stuff we have in PHP.  This has three 
basic options: (1) 
comments just are part of the course, (2) comments are in the course and copied 
to some twitter 
account which is configured by the instructor, and (3) the tool simply fronts 
twitter - it reads tweets 
and posts tweets.
