slightly-smarter-contracts's Issues

Setup a CI tests to test Echidna examples and exercises

Since Echidna is in development, some of the code changes we do could break these examples and exercises. That's why it could be really useful to pull the last revision of Echidna from time to time to test that everything works as expected. To implement the CI tests, Travis is recommended.

Explain how coverage can help to test more interesting contracts

The Echidna wiki needs to explain better how coverage can enable to test more complex and interesting contracts. For instance, using Echidna on this one:

contract C {
  bool state = true;
  function f(uint x, uint y, uint z) {
    require(x == 12);
    require(y == 8);
    require(z == 0);
    state = false;
    return;
  }

  function echidna_state() returns (bool) {
    return state;
  }
}

with this config:

testLimit: 1000
epochs: 50
range: 1
printCoverage: true

can reveal the test case where state = false. However, without coverage, it can take a very long time.
