Installation

1.1 Automatic installation

Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don't need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install of GoUrl Bitcoin Payment Gateway & Paid Downloads & Membership, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.

In the search field type "GoUrl" and click Search Plugins. Once you've found our plugin you can view details about it such as the rating and description. Most importantly, of course, you can install it by simply clicking Install Now.

1.2 Manual Installation

• Go to Wordpress Plugins > Add New
• Click Upload Plugin Zip File
• Upload the zipped gourl_wordpress file and click "Upload Now"
• Go to Installed Plugins
• Activate the "GoUrl Bitcoin Payment Gateway & Paid Downloads & Membership"

2. Activate Bitcoin/Altcoin Payments in Plugin

• Free Register or Login on the website https://gourl.io
• Create new payment boxes and get free Private/Public Keys https://gourl.io/editrecord/coin_boxes/0
• You will need to place Callback URL, please use: http://yoursite.com/?cryptobox.callback.php (the gourl wordpress plugin should be activated beforehand)
• Go to GoUrl Plugin Settings on your website and enter the private/public keys
• You can create Paid Products, Files, Membership, etc on your Wordpress Website

3. Move plugin data from one server to another server

GoUrl wordpress plugin stores the data in four MySQL tables -

• crypto_files

• crypto_payments

• crypto_membership

• crypto_products

• Dump mysql tables either using mysqldump or if you are using PHPMyAdmin then Export the structure and data.

• Also copy gourl directory to new server - www.yourwebsite.com/wp-content/uploads/gourl/*

4. Testing environment

You can use 500 free Speedcoins or Dogecoins for testing. high fees

hey can you make it to have and send using minimum fees possible

Confusing wording!

On the payment box it reads:

"Send EXACTLY 0.123 BTC (plus minor fee) to:"

Why does it say "EXACTLY" and immediately after "plus minor fee"?? Do I need to send 0.123, or 0.123 + minor fee?? And it says that if I don't send the exact amount, the payment system will ignore it! This ambiguity is enough to make me cancel the payment, and I bet a lot of other users too.

The wording must be clarified!!!

Wordpress Give Donation Addon

Hello AWESOME Devs of these great plugins. Been using them for awhile and appreciate everything you have done for the community! now thats out of the way. Im having a problem with the Give donations wordpress plugin addon. Ive added all of my payment boxes on the site with the keys etc. The problem im having is when im clicking on donate it is trying to pull up a page called ?payment-mode=gourl and it isnt being found, am i forgetting something very simple?

After place order on the checkout page, the plugin returns an error "Server has returned error - Connections using insecure transport are prohibited while --require_secure_transport=ON"

Admin is blank

Just after installing the plugin, my Wordpress admin dashboard is not displaying any content but the menu bar anymore. How can I fix it? Is it a compatibility issue?

I can only fix it by renaming the "gourl-bitcoin-payment-gateway-paid-downloads-membership" plugin folder...

I am using Wordpress 5.1.1–fr_FR.

Freezing Wordpress

This plugin is completely crashing my Wordpress environment. None of the pages would load. Had to uninstall the plugin.

Payments not possible due to google finance converter url change

Hey all,
google finance converter changed its url, so you can't pay with this plugin anymore.
I found the old (wrong) url in gourl.php, line 6412:
$url = "https://www.google.com/finance/converter?a=1&from=".$from_Currency."&to=".$to_Currency;

If you change it to the version below, the plugin works again:
$url = "https://finance.google.com/finance/converter?a=1&from=".$from_Currency."&to=".$to_Currency;

Transaction fee

What I don't understand here is that you say, on Github that there are no hidden fees, nor any fees whatsoever, and then make me create an account on your website, where, in your license agreement says that I accept some fees charged for the service by GoURL. What's the real deal here?

Remove inline css style

Hi, payment box is not responsive, please remove all inline style.
Min width of the payment box is 480px but many device has width less than 480px .
With this style the payment box is completely unusable, many user today use smartphones.

Also use wp_enqueue_style instead of output directly into wp_head hook

Google QR Code API not functioning

My understanding is that the Google API to generate the QR code on your WP plugins is being withdrawn and frequently fails to generate any QR image (direct clicking on the failed image also fails at Google.
Need to update your plugins to use a different QR code generator API.
