Projects
Sufflain
Sufflain is a project aimed at students at my college. I worked on it from May 2021 to August 2022. The goal was to create a mobile-optimized web app that presented classes' timetables more conveniently than the official college site. The latter had all of them on the same page, so searching for something specific was slow and annoying. Until the first release in February of 2021, I didn't know another student solved this problem and released their product in September. Their solution was a Telegram bot that sends new timetables for a specific class or a teacher. I didn't want to give up and kept working on my project. After tens of hours of work, hundreds of lines of code, hours of fighting with myself, and one major update, the number of users was still low - about ten people. Fast forward to September 2022: no new users, no motivation, and no more free time to invest in the project. Eventually, the college stopped posting timetables on the website. The project died. For historical reasons, Sufflain's Telegram channel is still available.
