HOW TO INSTALL THIS THING

Visit chrome://extensions in your browser (or open up the Chrome menu by clicking the icon to the far right of the Omnibox:

The menu's icon is three horizontal bars.. and select Extensions under the Tools menu to get to the same place).

Ensure that the Developer mode checkbox in the top right-hand corner is checked.

Click Load unpacked extension… to pop up a file-selection dialog.

Navigate to the directory in which your extension files live, and select it.

Great idea! Would it be cool if I contributed some code?

I actually came upon this because I had the exact same idea (even down to the name) and googled it to see if it had been done. If I'm reading this correctly, it targets twitter.com specifically, right? I'd like to try and work towards a more general approach similar to adblock, where you could flag any HTML element as clickbait.
