I'd like to test ec2-boot-bench from a network that doesn't have IPv6 support. Would you be amenable to a patch adding IPv4 support?

I'll need to provide a patch but my C skills are rusty. To detect SSH socket being closed and open, an option to use the EC2 private IPv4 address instead of the Elastic IP (Public IPv4) can be used to reduce delays even further.

For now, I just modified main.c to use:
ip = xmlextract(R->body, R->bodylen, "privateIpAddress");
instead of:
ip = xmlextract(R->body, R->bodylen, "ipAddress");

I tried ec2-boot-bench, and got an opaque error:

ec2-boot-bench: EC2 RunInstances API request failed
ec2-boot-bench: Error in event loop

It'd be helpful to have the actual error text from RunInstances, to be able to decipher what's going on.
