The dataset /badc/cmip6/data/CMIP6/ScenarioMIP/THU/CIESM/ssp585/r1i1p1f1/Amon/rsus/gr/v20200806 has a time range from 4029-01-16 12:00:00 ... 4114-12-16 12:00:00.

This is the only one in the latest inventory (v20210301) that has a time range so far in the future. Should this be included in the inventory?

2 datasets in the inventory (v20210301) have very large latitude and longitude values of 1000000015047466219876688855040.00.

They are both on irregular grids (i, j) but i and j both have sensible max values:
320 and 384 respectively for /badc/cmip6/data/CMIP6/CMIP/SNU/SAM0-UNICON/historical/r1i1p1f1/SImon/siconc/gn/v20190323
360 and 218 respectively for /badc/cmip6/data/CMIP6/ScenarioMIP/CAS/FGOALS-g3/ssp534-over/r1i1p1f1/SImon/siconc/gn/v20200706

should these be included in the inventory?

In the previous inventory, this dataset exists:

c3s-cmip6.ScenarioMIP.CCCma.CanESM5.ssp585.r1i1p1f1.Amon.ts.gn.v20190429

This will affect:

• facet: mip_era
• ds_id first component

And let James know about the consequences.
And then we can change the hard-coding in rook.director.

We need to investigate whether release 3 contains datasets from MPI-ESM1-2-HR/ssp245 that passed QC but were excluded. If so, why were they excluded. The CDS interface only includes the historical experiment for this model. We shouldn't be publishing anything that is only historical.
