Hi Corey,
I was watching your YouTube video on setting up Sublime Text 3 for working with Python. Thanks so much for posting your videos, sharing information, and helping people like me to learn! It's much appreciated.
I tried adding your User Preferences code to ST3, and I ran into an issue: I can't see the Command Palette drop-down menu very well. I retried some previous settings I had, which I think used the default themes, and I could see the drop-down Command Palette just fine. Do you think this is simply an issue with using the Material Theme and the Predawn color scheme? Or do you think there could be something else at play? I'd like to use your settings, if possible, for getting started.
I think I've included a partial screenshot of my issue, which has some previous settings I had plus the material and predawn themes. You'll see that there really isn't a backdrop to the Command Palette drop-down...just the words.
If all else fails, maybe I can use most of your settings with different themes. Thanks for any thoughts/suggestions!
Daniel
Hi @CoreyMSchafer Help required.
I have followed the steps to setup anaconda sublime plugin. I have tried few things
for num in [1, 2, 3, 4] # I got error syntax error here
print n # but i didn't get uindefined variable error here (i resolved the first error and then chacked)
Als, I have enabled the import validation
from user import get_usre_name # got error as "cannot import (as the method name was incorrect)"
But I didn't get any error, where I directly used the get_user_name method
user_name = get_user_name(user)` # I am assuming it should throw some error ' method is not imported'
I am new to the sublime text (using ST3) and python, so could you please help me out?
I have installed the anaconda plugin, copied the settings and added
"python_interpreter": "/home/shubham/project/env/bin/python"
Thanks.
Hey Corey,
I see you've decided to source .bash_profile
from .bashrc
, although in the video you do the opposite. It would be nice to get your reasoning for this.
Thanks!
I have tested and verified code for implementing this on zsh.
