Attempting to attach the associated Conda env to a notebook upload results in the following:

Internal Server Error An error ocurred in the Notebook Server You may need to re-install nb_anacondacloud

This happens both for AEN & standalone Jupyter notebooks

etc/jupyter/nbconfig/notebook.json is also used by jupyter dashboards and jupyter-cms.

conda-installing _nb_ext_conf=0.3.0=py35_0 from an environment yaml overwrites etc/jupyter/nbconfig/notebook.json after jupyter dashboards and jupyter-cms are activated, so they would not work.

This is the proposed mechanism for creating the one-time seed configuration file(s) to be used in the anaconda installer.

We haven't done the work to move the file copying step in the other extensions, so this can't be tried out just yet against real things, but those are quite short.
