minecraft-nintendo-switch-private-server's Issues

Hostname changed

It looks like the hostname for the Lifeboat network is now play.lbsg.net per:
https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Featured_servers

However, I couldn't get Minecraft on the Switch to connect to my local server when I override that hostname to point to my local server IP in DNS, so I'm not sure if something else has changed.

Issue with AWS implementation

I posted this on reddit, but thought it may fit better here.

I built a nukkitx server on an aws instance, and it works great. However, when I tried to use this so that my switch could connect, it did not work.

I replaced the ip with the server ip, and got past docker-compose up. However, when I went to put in the server ip in the primary dns, it did not connect. Just sent me to the lifeboat server.

"exec format error" when starting bedrock server

Starting the minecraft server brings this error:

Starting minecraft_mc_1 ... done Attaching to minecraft_mc_1
mc_1 | standard_init_linux.go:211: exec user process caused "exec format error"
minecraft_mc_1 exited with code 1

DonΒ΄t know much about docker ......
Docker is running on a windows 10 pc.

If you get binding problems

Note. If you get errors as outlined here sameersbn/docker-bind#65 (tldr; ports are already being used). Most likely it'ssystemd-resolved, it can be resolved by stopping and disabling the service with the following commands in Ubuntu:

sudo systemctl stop systemd-resolved
sudo systemctl disable systemd-resolved

Not sure if worth adding to readme.

ctest.cdn.nintendo.net denied

Hello,

Your tool looks awesome, thanks for your work !

However, I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong as I can not reach the internet as soon as the primary DNS is configred.
I run it on one of my server which have a static ip address.

I did what you wrote in the readme but when I modify my primary DNS on the switch, it is not able anymore to connect to the internet.

I can join the tool as I see me in the docker-compose log. But I also see that I can't reach the nintendo CDN once the primary DNS is configured :

client ... my_ip#44393 (ctest.cdn.nintendo.net): query (cache) 'ctest.cdn.nintendo.net/A/IN' denied

I have the impression that not being able to reach nintendo cdn is breaking the internet connection on the switch.

Am I doing something wrong ?
Did you already faced this problem ?

Thanks for your help :)

could not perform DNS name resolution

I've done all the steps, but when I try to put the server IP address in my switch's primary DNS it say "could not perform DNS resolution". The IP address I put in was my router, and my laptop (which is running the server) and my switch are both connected to that router for internet access. DO any of you have any suggestions for what might have gone wrong? Thanks in advance for the help.

Am I running the DNS server properly?

Hi, I run docker-compose up in \dns and it just says, bind_1 | Starting webmin... and exits to wait for a new command. If I run the command again it runs this message multiple times and then dns_bind_1 exited with code 127. Is there a way to see the status of the DNS server? Also, which IP should I be pasting into my Primary DNS on the switch? I'm currently using my WAN IP. (Also pasted WAN IP into db.mco.lbsg.net)

Let me know and I'll update the README and Pull Request it for you.
