advanced_comments's Issues

With oldest first settings, comment just posted can be found with difficulty

Using advanced_comments_v4.0.1, Elgg3.0.1, php7x and in the plugin settings I have
Comments order : oldest first (this is the most common order used in forums, blogs, social nets etc)
and Comment limit : 50 (or 100)
Now when an user posts a comment (suppose he is the 4oth or 89th comment-or) he expects that, after posting the comment, he will be automatically scrolled to his comment. This is the expected default behavior. However, he only sees the first one or two comments, and to find the comment he has just posted he has to scroll, scroll and search for his comment.

In Elgg org itself, comments are set as oldest first, and the user is taken to the comment he just posted.

UI : Append the comment box always at the end of comments.

UI : Append the comment box always at the end of comments. Just as in Elgg org now and probably previous Elgg. This helps : for example : I am reading a blog post or a discussion, and then I read some 40 or 50 comments in a page, and then after reading all this I want to make my own additions in the form of a comment. Expected behavior : I will find a comment box at the end of all comments. But now in Elgg 3.0.1 I will have to scroll, scroll back (up) again and then also there will be no comment box but a button to click which will open the comment box. My suggestion: let this plugin take care of that so that admin can set (if he wants) an open comment box at the end of all comments (just as in Elgg org now). Thanks.

UI : for the first and second comment makers, comment box behaves differently

UI interface : When the user is the first one to post a comment he sees an open comment box. But if he is the second or third or fourth etc, he has to click a button to open the comment box. Can there please be an admin option in this plugin to keep the comment box open always ? I understand that this is the default design in Elgg 3.01. - what I am intending is that let this plugin over-ride that and let the site admin have the option to keep it open always, if he wants so.
Thanks.
PS: Also, if the first person comes again after some 15 or 20 comments, he will look for the comment box but not find it again.

Start.php missing

There needs needs to be a start.php file for this plugin to work but there's no start.php file.
