ECF Traffic Light custom field default value is not working

I am using ECF Traffic Light custom field and try to set a default value to "Green" through configuration screen and not be able to set the default value.
I click "Set Default" after selecting the value from the drop down list and it is not setting the value correctly.
It stays with "Red".

I am using JIRA Software 7.3 server version currently.

Compatibility with Jira > 7.5

Are you planning to support Jira > 7.5?

Problem with Essential Custom Fields for JIRA - Last comment and XML export

Hi,
We recently installed Essential Custom Fields for JIRA plugin in our instance, but we started having problems when we tried to export issues in an XML file. After doing some tests, we realized that the problem was present when any XML unsupported character was present in the 'Last Comment' field.
Changing the configuration and render options won't help at all.
We are running a large JIRA instance and this is a blocker for us since we do not have any workaround but to add a plain text line as the last comment.
Are you aware of this issue? Do you know if there is any fix for this problem?

essential fields for jira plugin compatibility

Is the plugin compatible with the latest version of Jira Service Desk (3.10) ?
