The new video player in reddit ris not working with fbf current version
a new update would be much appreciated

On Youtube and twitch, it now counts at 58 frames per second - even if the video is 30 or 60 (when the previous update counted at 60). this leads to innacurate timing when used

Users who are into music or changed the speed of player and need to go back to a few seconds often would find it very helpful

users have to use shortcuts to use it
using mouse control would be very not accurate and annoying for this purpose

no side effects because you have to set keys in shortcut menu

when i keep pressing on arrow keys its like slowed down and adding 1 frame that isn't there like its on 60fps
would be cool if u add 60fps and 30fps settings and option for adding other keys instead of arrows

i wish there were options for how many frames were skipped at once because normally i would want to skip ten frames at once but holding the shift key for a while can get annoying or if i held the shift key it would skip 100 frames for faster skipping

Please make the colors RGBA, so it is possible to get rid of the outline (which is annoying most of the time as it doesn't just outline the video are but the actual video dimension) it would be great also to be able to hide (close the bubble on a video) and have it back if needed (from right-click menu) or just by reloading the video (but it is optional of course)…

Doesn't work with local video files. Like when you open a video from the Windows file explorer

I really love ImprovedTube and this sounds like another pretty neat addon. I'd love to see it support Firefox as well some time in the future :)

I love this addon to be able to analyze animations and learn from them but when I change the opacity or make the outline black the settings aren't saved.

Changing the shortcut keys are saving though which is great since the default shortcut overrides the fast forward shortcut on all media players. setting the shortcut to , and . keys (on EN keyboards they have the < > arrows) is much more intuitive and doesnt break any websites

It's also impossible to export or import the settings it leads to an error page that says "File Not Found".

EDIT: If you move the opacity to 0.5 it saves but if you set it to 0 it resets to the default. With the colors if you set it to pure black it resets to default but if you set it close to black it saves.

by default navigating frames should NOT be left & right arrow key, but same as youtube , & .

(The Extension is more relevant and just shooting itself in the foot a bit with this)

(and instead of framerate, there should be shift+up or down - for a smaller interval, like 1s/60, where possible)

_ (One should usually let any current default stay for the existing users (~5000) - (can't guess how many people don't mind, because they never used left&right for the 5second-navigation.

As of now, the application uses the right and left arrow key to move a frame. Unfortunately these keys are used by most video-players to skip around in the video. So it would be nice to be able to change the keyboard shortcuts.
I would also suggest adding an option to define a second key like CTRL, to be able to keep using the arrow keys.

its not as smooth like with reddit and other sites as before like more laggier
also it doesn't work in video tabs anymore like this
