qpp-eu-data's Introduction

Extreme and Uncontrollable County Lookup

The automatic extreme and uncontrollable circumstances (EUC) policy identifies counties affected by natural disasters and public health emergencies. A fact sheet that summarizes policy and CMS designated counties for each performance year is available for download via QPP resource library. There are a few downstream data processing systems within Quality Payment Program (QPP) that require county data enriched with zip codes. This repository publishes the county-zipcode crosswalk data in various machine-readable formats and the backoffice programs that generate them.

Refer Developer Guide for more information.

qpp-eu-data's Issues

[FEATURE] - Ability to scan EU Factsheet updates

Describe New Feature

The system should scan the QPP resource library for EUC factsheet updates and alert teams in Slack Channel and create a github issue against this repo.

Possible Solution

Run a CRON job via Github Actions daily

Alternative Solution

N/A

Context

To keep up to date with policy regulations we ned to monitor changes to EU policy. Also the downstream teams must update whenever there is a change in zip code crosswalk. We should leverage the following methods:

  1. Create Slack Alerts when there is EU policy changes
  2. Create Slack and and additionally raise PRs or Issues in downstream Github repos (like we did for qpp-measures-data)

in test_generator.py, did you mean to leave that pass at the bottom of the last test?

in code-analysis.yml, what about upping minimum_coverage in line 40 to something like 65 since your coverage is higher than that at 67%?
Yes, PR raised to update this

Since you will use Renovatebot, your dependencies should stay clean. Do you plan on letting the `bot merge minor and patch updates if the tests pass?
Yes, I can enable that, might need your help in configuring that.

Line 6 in requirements.txt is slack-sdk==3.12. which is a little weird with the trailing . but it seems to work
