A series of tampermonkey scripts to make price lookup on bookfinder.com easier

Pre-requisites

You have to be in Chrome

Install Tampermonkey

You might want to click on this little puzzle-piece in the toolbar and "pin" the tampermonkey extension for easy access:

installation

1. Open Tampermonkey dashboard:

   

2. Click "utilities"

   

3. Paste in https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cmcculloh/bookfinder-tweaks/master/script.isbn.js (and click "install")

   

4. Click "Install"

   

   • (You should see an "operation completed successfully" message:

   

5. Paste in https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cmcculloh/bookfinder-tweaks/master/script.price.js (and click "install")

   

6. Click "Install"

   

   • (You should see an "operation completed successfully" message:

   

Updates

The scripts should automatically update when new changes are published to github, but in case they don't.

1. Open Tampermonkey dashboard:

   

2. Click "Installed User Scripts" (if it isn't already selected)

   

3. Click on the script you want to update

   

4. Click on "settings"

   

5. Click "Check for userscript updates"

   

6. You will see some sort of confirmation message at the top of the screen
