applying-theme's Issues

The weather icons don't appear

The weather icons don't appear, and even after changing the api and the city continues to be shown as null, does anyone know how to fix this?

Problem with the bar

Hi,
First Thanks for the theme! , I’m having the next problem, that I get the black bar and not the transparent divisions, nor the drawings. How can I modify it?

Transparency issue on Xfce DE

I have been experiencing transparency issue with many of the themes even after following the given guide

Regulus Theme weather icon showing box

First off love the theme work. I got everything working on it except the weather icons. I downloaded the weather-icons from the erikflowers site, loaded them on the system and also dropped them in the fonts folder under ~/.config/conky/Regulus/fonts. Still shows as a box. I looked at the weather-text-icon file and the variables have various asian characters in the quotes. I'm not sure if that's what's breaking this since I have an English system that may not be able to show asian character fonts. Still not sure how those get converted to clouds or sun images.

Auva Theme

I'm having issues installing this specific theme. Conky Manager 2 wont pick it up at all, and it is in the right place. I think it might be missing a .cmtheme but i'm not sure

[Manjaro & KDE Plasma 5] Can't get rid of opaque, black background

I did my best to follow the instructions in the README here on GitHub; the theme I want to use is Botein. However, none of the "transparency" options work (all of them result in an opaque black background):

What could be my problem?

I'm looking forward to use Botein on my laptop.

Can't find where to override id in config

The instruction tell to override device id in config. I found this unclear, yet I've look it all up in ever file possible for inspecting argument to override the device id. I still can't find it. Do you know where to put it??

Unable to show Spotify info

Hi, I just bought your Mimosa theme, I really like the style, fits perfectly with my DE and you have done a very great job creating themes. I used mpd some time ago without good experiences. I mainly use Spotify client or the browser player (Spotify again, YouTube...). Can MPD be used for Spotify? If not, can your themes support it?

Thanks for your job :)

[Question] Is there a way to handle screen scale?

Hello,

First of all thanks a lot for the amazing themes!

I tested a few of them and they all seem be be very well tuned. However things will misplace if I scale up my display i.e. to 200%. What's the recommended way to adjust?

Thanks!

Gestures problem

I am using Arch linux running in gnome 44 and just installed the nashira-Dark theme. So the issue is that when I switch to another desktop using gestures the conky would appear
image
however when I arrive at the desktop it disappears

I don't know if it is an issue with the theme or the conky itself. sorry I am still new to linux and just exploring tnx

playerctl title is is rendered outside of the background png boxes in Mimosa theme when it is too long and looks wierd

Issue is same as title. When the media playing has a long title (like a youtube video), it renders the title outside the box which looks ugly.
The fix for this is:

  • add | cut -c1-23 to the Mimosa.conf file at line 95 after the exec command to pull playerctl data
  • the line should look like this: ${color}${offset 172}${voffset 0}${font Abel:italic:size=9}${exec playerctl metadata xesam:title | cut -c1-23}${font}

What the addition does is it chops off the rest of the string after 23 characters which is perfect to fit inside the box and looks in proportion.
