How the script works.

Run setup-my-new-machine.sh , which is the entry point script for all the other scripts.

Fix brew cask installations

exclude/opt/casks folder from spotlight search. This folder is created by Brew Cask when installing Apps. I don't want alfred showing me the location of where this app was installed.
If an app is already installed on my machine, brew cask will create the /opt/casks folder & put my apps there which I don't want.

Fix `Atom .` error when trying to open file

alias atom="open -a /Applications/Atom.app/Contents/MacOS/Atom"

Sync Basic Sublime Settings

Determine strategy for syncing sublime settings with this repo.

Note: I don't use Sublime much so if the solution is just uploading my settings file with the proper settings, this would be a good start.

I need to look into how I can sync the few essential plugins I do use though. (git integration, mavensmate, editorconfig, lightning-cli, terminal)

Create Scenario: Using ubuntu pc for self-study, but would like to have all terminal tools, browsers & extensions installed.

Look up how to do a conditional check for ubuntu machine...mac is 'darwin'...

Don't forget brave browser for Ubuntu.

Add script for NVM installation

To install Node Version Manager (NVM), you a C++ compiler installed on your system. You can install it on your PC with the following command xcode-select --install. This command gives you the option to install Xcode or just the dev tools...install xcode, because some apps you use require xCode (ionic etc)
