A student asked if it's possible to use the conda installer on windows. It didn't seem to work, with the message clawpack missing in current win-64 channels, see screen shot.

@ketch: I got the conda install to work so that I can import the python codes, but it seems to install these in the ~/anaconda/envs/.../lib/python2.7/site-packages and remove the source. Your email to claw-users about this indicated that this was a good way for users of classic, amrclaw, etc. to install without worrying about f2py choking, but how do you access any of those codes?

I'm trying to create a Python 3.6 recipe for Clawpack, but I'm getting this:

conda.exceptions.UnsatisfiableError: The following specifications were found to be in conflict:
  - h5py-parallel -> python=3.5
  - python[version='>=3.6,<3.7.0a0']
Use "conda info <package>" to see the dependencies for each package.

I guess that we should update the h5py-parallel recipe to use the latest release of h5py (2.8.0). Or perhaps there is now a conda-forge recipe for h5py that is parallel-enabled?

@dalcinl could you help me with this?
