Org-mac-protocol seems to load org-bibtex.el here, but there's no such file. The file is probably ol-bibtex.el, which loads fine. This is probably related to #8.

Would it be possible to update this to use org-capture? The latter has been the recommended tool for this and remember development seems to be dormant.

Every time I run one of the applescripts from org-mac-protocol, I get prompted to tell where Pages.app, Keynote.app and Numbers.app are. I don't have any of these, so I can't answer to the script's satisfaction....

org-bibtex.el has been renamed to ol-bittex.el, see https://code.orgmode.org/bzg/org-mode/commit/499c0a50cc4b11e37b91374af23cb27ab8fc20d2, so you should depend on ol-bibtex. Because the change to Org has not made it into a release yet, you might want to soft depend on both features for the time being.

If you are a novice Mac user (like me --- I changed over from Linux), getting this stuff to work may be a little obscure, especially if you are on 10.6+.

The new process for getting access to the script menu is somewhat convoluted: you need to fire up the script editor, and drill into its preferences.

Quicksilver does not invoke applescripts in its default settings; you need to enable this specifically.

If you were to add notes to this effect to the manual, it might help beginners like me.
