In Makefile, make sure to use GCC for .cpp files and NVCC for .cu files. Right now make cuda used nvcc for all code.

New communication algorithm for MPI. Use the one in C_3D. Need this for the periodic boundary conditions.

After calculating alpha, change u so that u1=<m e^(a^Tm)> and u1_0 = u_0.

Want a timer that doesn't require -lrt. Don't need microsecond timing. Just use standard library.

filter in momopt doesn't work.

MPI versions do not get the right answer in regression tests.

Look into convergence for filtered PN runs. Lanczos and Hauck are around 1.5 convergence instead of 2. SSpline achieves 2nd order.
