ut_gittorrent's Issues

Is there a standardized process for extending the gittorrent protocol with new commands?

I'm close to having a fully working isomorphic implementation of git that runs in node or in the browser (using level-browserify for storage) and have also gotten instances communicating over webtorrent using ut_gittorrent! However the ut_gittorrent protocol defined so far only has commands for cloning repos, and my use cases are quickly going to exceed that and require commands for pushing to repos and subscribing to realtime updates to repos. My question is: do I fork or can we grow the protocol in a way that's compatible with your goals and my goals?
