Make android apps believe Wifi is connected. Handy in situations where there is a (non wifi) connection, but some app won't do its thing unless it thinks it's on wifi.
Hi
As per title, am getting the "This app works only with Xposed", although Xposed is installed and module is enabled (and rebooted). Xposed version is 90.0-v04.1.2_beta (SandHook). Galaxy note 8
First and most importantly, thanks so much for your hard work on this module! With a few reboots and guessed MAC addresses I have everything up and running on my Nougat flavor Samsung A3 as proved by Test Wifi.
However...I was really hoping this might allow me to make use of the now popular "Wifi Calling" feature, but over Ethernet. Do you know if this is, or could be possible?
So far all attempts are unrecognised by the phone dialer, and the Wifi Calling icon disappears as soon as Ethernet is plugged in - just as it does without your module installed. "Main switch" and "Select all" are both active. Huge thanks!
Hi, on my S10+, FakeWifi v1.3 works like a charm with android pie and edxposed, thx.
Yesterday i installed "android 10"on my Samsung S10+. My news attempts are unsuccessful works with FakeWifi v1.3, edxposed (EdXposed-SandHook-v0.4.6.5.Justins.Fork.-release-1) and "PS4 Remote Play". The error message is " A connection via a wi-fi network cannot be established. Chek your network connection.
Any ideas?
Best regards
Sorry for my bad english, i'm french.
The module does not seem to work one One Plus 3.
Everything is looking fine, no error or anything, but wifi is not faked on any apps. Tried rebooting and faking all apps, still nothing.
Configuration:
Android 7.0
Magisk 16.0
Xposed 89.2 (systemless) installed via Magisk
Xposed installer 3.1.15 (installed from Magisk)
But as time went by, on new box (nougat) I tried your new versin 1.3, and
the window pops up:
"You must have active wifi connection". But thing is more complicated: stream on this app dont start neither with wifi nor with ethernet, while your module isnt active. In this case message about the wifi will not appear.
I think the problem will be elsewhere - drm certification maybe, all what else comes to your mind...
If you wanna or could try I could give you login data to this app,
it does not bother me, I have more accounts. If you wanna try conctact me: [email protected]
Hello,
First of all, thank you for your job. I'm looking for a solution to fake VoWi-Fi and use a simple USB-C RJ45 cable. Py phone is a S8 Oreo - Xposed installed (v90B3) and Fake Wi-Fi 1.2 installed will all apps selected.
Wi-Fi Calling is of course working with Wi-Fi (Flight mode) but when the Wi-Fi is off I get a "Turn off flight mode to make this call". I've Added the Fake SSID name.
Can you please help with that issue? I would like to provide a safe way to call to my daughter.
Hi. It just happened out of the blue some time back. The module stopped detecting xposed. I'm on a galaxy s7 nougat. Uninstalled/reinstalled xposed, flashed my phone and installed everything from scratch but the problem is still there. Please look into it.
I first tried it with the unofficial nougat xposed framework but it didn't work so I thought it was because that version of xposed wasn't complete. But the official xposed support for android dropped and it still doesn't seem to work. I tried it on the asphalt extreme game and it didn't work. Also tried it on the Twitter app to see if videos will auto play like how it does when wifi is on and it didn't work too. Can you please take a look at this problem too?
My goal is to be able to make a voice call over ethernet. For that I'm using a Samsung S8 on a DEX or even with a simple USB-C to ethernet adapter.
I can make a voice call over Wifi with airplane mode on. The call is a simple IPSEC access to a gateway, this is pure IP. But If I disable Wifi, the dialer will ask me to quit the airplane mode even if the phone has full internet access connectivity. I've tried to use fake Wifi but I always get a pop up "please turn off airplane mode to make this call"
Do you have a solution for me ? Any idea ?
How can I prevent one application, for example the dialer to check if airplane mode is on?
