galendae's Issues

Circle highlighting current date not centered for non-monospace fonts

Me again ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Using a non-monospace font, the circle highlighting the current date looks slightly off for me. See the attached screenshot. Used font: Overpass 10.

galendae_current

Suggestions for solving this:
a) Force the usage of a monospaced font.
b) Resize the calendar widget so it is a perfect multiple of columns and rows in pixel width/height.

I have a working patch for b). If you are interested, I can open a PR.

This is obviously quite nitpicking so feel free to close the issue if you think it isn't enough of a problem.

Ignores position and undecorated configuration

Hello, I know this package is fairly old but I've noticed that you are still active so I'll still raise this issue.

I do not know if it's SwayWM related or Galendae itself, but changing the position value in ~/.config/galendae/galendae.conf it ignores it and still spawns a window in the middle of the screen. And it does not matter if galendae is called from terminal, a launcher or by clicking in a status bar.

I do know that galendae does not ignore the configuration file itself as it changes the colors, fonts, etc.

# ~/.config/galendae/galendae.conf
undecorated=1
position=mouse
x_offset=0
y_offset=0

My system:

OS: Arch Linux x86_64
Kernel: 6.5.9-arch2-1
WM: sway

Could this be related to default swaywm window rules and I have to somehow force galendae's settings in window rules? Thank you

Start Week

Please, add a config option start_week

start_week=monday
or
start_week=sunday

in Brazil, the calendar is organized with Sunday starting the week

No install option after make

Hi,

Just notice there is no make install option for this great little galendae. How should one install this into the system correctly?
